Hello! I’m Rumyana Savova, founder of Rumy’s Cakesicles. I’m incredibly grateful that you’re here and have taken the time to read about my journey and my passion for baking.
I’m originally from Gorna Oryahovitsa, but life has taken me to various places, from Veliko Tarnovo, through America, all the way to London, where I spent some of the most valuable six years of my life. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and Management and a Master’s degree in Food Business Management at the University of West London.
These years have been not only challenging but also incredibly rewarding, as they have helped me fulfil two long-held dreams: to run my own business and to delight people with my culinary creations.

From hobby to business
Rumy’s Cakesicles started as a hobby during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was looking for a way to keep myself occupied and get through that difficult time, whilst doing something I truly love.
I never imagined that this hobby would turn into a business that so many people would appreciate. Over time, I began to see the potential both in myself and in my creations.
Inspired by everything I learnt in London, I decided to turn this project into a professional venture and show the Bulgarian market that there is room for innovation and bold culinary ideas.
Mission and goals
My mission has always been to offer my customers more than just ordinary confectionery. It is important to me that every creation is unique, combining creativity, perfectionism and high quality.
I believe that sweets should not only be delicious, but also visually appealing. That is precisely why I strive to use only the very best and most natural ingredients, even if it means waiting months for deliveries from America, England or Germany.
Furthermore, I want to inspire and support young and aspiring confectioners by sharing my knowledge and skills with them.
