2. Definitions
Website is the website rumyskitchen.com, together with all its subpages.
Client means any natural or legal person who places an order.
User is a natural person within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act who places an order outside the scope of their commercial activities.
Order is an order to purchase one or more products, placed via the website.
3. Products and prices
All products are handmade in small batches. As they are handmade, there may be slight variations in appearance compared to the photographs on the website. The photographs are for illustrative purposes only.
Prices are in euros and include VAT if the trader is registered under the VAT Act. The delivery charge is shown separately at the payment stage.
The retailer reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Any price change will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
For some products, an additional charge is applied for packaging, boxes and protective materials; this is shown before the order is finalised.
4. Order
To place an order, add items to your basket and fill in your details at the payment stage.
Once you have submitted your order, you will receive a confirmation by email. The contract is deemed to have been concluded from the moment the trader confirms acceptance of the order.
The retailer reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of stock running out, a technical issue with the price, or an inability to fulfil the order within the requested timeframe. In such cases, the amount paid will be refunded in full.
For larger quantities and corporate orders, advance notice is required; we recommend at least 14 days before the desired date.
5. Payment
Payment is made using the card payment methods available at the payment stage, processed by Stripe.
Card details are not stored on the website. They are processed directly by the payment service provider, which is certified to the PCI DSS standard.
When collecting an order in-store, a 5% discount is applied to the price of the products.
6. Delivery
Deliveries are made via Econt and BoxNow throughout Bulgaria.
The cupcakes on sticks are dispatched exclusively via Econt to ensure their quality and appearance are maintained during transport. BoxNow is available only for granola, brownies and blondies.
Collection from the workshop’s address is possible. If no specific date is specified when placing the order, the retailer will contact the customer to arrange a suitable day and time.
Production and dispatch times are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the product and workload. The products have a limited shelf life and are dispatched so that they are received whilst still fresh.
7. Subscriptions
Some products are available as a subscription with regular payments and deliveries.
By taking out a subscription, the customer agrees to the specified card being automatically charged at the end of each period until the subscription is cancelled.
The subscription can be cancelled at any time via the ‘My Profile’ section or by contacting the retailer. The cancellation takes effect from the next billing period. Deliveries that have already been processed and paid for cannot be cancelled.
8. Right of withdrawal
Under Article 57 of the Consumer Protection Act, the right to withdraw from the contract does not apply to the supply of goods which, by their nature, are liable to deteriorate or have a short shelf life, nor does it apply to goods made to the consumer’s order or in accordance with their individual requirements.
As all desserts are perishable food items with a limited shelf life and are made to order, they fall under these exceptions and cannot be returned or exchanged simply because you have changed your mind.
For online courses and digital content, the right of withdrawal ceases to apply if the consumer has given their express consent for the provision of the service to commence before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
This does not limit your rights in the event of a defect or non-conformity of the product, as described in the following section.
9. Complaints
If a product is damaged in transit, of poor quality or does not match your order, please contact the retailer as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours after receipt.
Please attach photos of the product and the packaging. If the complaint is valid, the retailer will offer a replacement or a refund.
Complaints can be submitted to rumyskitchenn@gmail.com or by calling 0886 219 129.
10. Allergens and storage
The products are manufactured in a kitchen where nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, gluten, soya and seeds are processed. We cannot guarantee that any product is free from traces of allergens.
Customers with allergies should inform the retailer before placing an order. Information on the ingredients of a specific product is available on request.
Storage instructions and the recommended use-by date are provided with the order.
11. Copyright
All content on this website, including text, photographs, recipes, designs and the logo, is protected by copyright and may not be used without written permission.
Access to the online course is personal and may not be shared, resold or distributed.
12. Disputes and applicable law
In respect of any matters not covered herein, the applicable Bulgarian legislation shall apply.
Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the matter shall be referred to the competent Bulgarian court.
Consumers may contact the Consumer Protection Commission at 4A Slaveykov Square, Sofia, tel. 0700 111 22, kzp.bg, as well as to the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.
